The present moment is fleeting and so many things can change in one day, week or minute. I've always been in love with the idea of being able to take that fleeting feeling & sort of bottle it up.
In 2007 smartphones arrived into my life — phones that you could take photos + videos on. Right in my pocket at all times.
My love of documentation began there.
I've always been the person friends call after an event to ask "did you get a video of X?" or "did you take a photo of X?" followed by the infamous "can you send it to me?"
I proudly took on the role of the document friend. I enjoyed capturing the memories & I knew how much it meant to the people I was sharing that memory with.
As the saying goes, the rest is history.
